Adichanalloor Grama Panchayath
Adichanalloor Grama Panchayat is situated in the Ithikkara Block, spanning across the Adichanalloor and Tazhuthala villages of Kollam Taluk in Kollam district. Currently, it consists of 21 wards and covers an area of 19.85 sq. km. According to the 2011 Census, the total population is 34,239, comprising 15,896 males and 18,343 females. With a population density of 1,643 per sq. km, the panchayat has achieved a literacy rate of 98.62%.
The panchayat shares its boundaries with Thazhakkara (Thrikkovilvattam) and Nedumpana Grama Panchayats to the north, Pooyappally Grama Panchayat to the east, Mayyanad Grama Panchayat to the south, and the Ithikkara River to the west.
